Description
The original plastic Vanos covers tend to fail over time, with small plastic fragments potentially entering the oil system, leading to catastrophic engine damage and costly repairs. BMW does not offer the Vanos covers as separate parts; they are only sold as part of the entire Vanos assembly.
We developed our Vanos covers with four key goals in mind:
- Plug-and-play fitment
- Durability
- Lightweight construction
- Ease of installation
Our design closely resembles the original, but we use different materials and manufacturing techniques.
TPE Precision Vanos covers are 3D printed in aluminum using state-of-the-art industrial printers. This allows us to maintain the original snap-fit geometries, ensuring the covers fit and secure in place just like the OEM parts.
Installation is straightforward, as the covers simply snap into position without affecting engine timing. Each set includes four covers.
